This Privacy Policy describes how MacroCoach (the "App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this policy.
Information We Collect
- Account & Profile Data: Name, email address, and your role as either a Coach or Client.
- Health & Wellness Data: Meal logs, macro targets, metric logs (e.g., weight), and progress photos you choose to upload.
- Usage & Device Data: We automatically collect data on how you interact with the App, including device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
- Third-Party Data: We receive information from service providers such as Shopify, Google/Apple Sign-In, and payment processors.
How We Use Your Information
- Provide Services: Create your account, facilitate the Coach-Client relationship, and track your progress.
- Service Verification & Dispute Resolution: We track app usage data to verify the delivery of services. In the event of a refund request through the Apple App Store or other platforms, we may provide this usage data to our partner, RevenueCat, or directly to the platform (e.g., Apple) to demonstrate that the App was accessed and used.
- Security: Detect and prevent fraud or unauthorized access to protect our users.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
- Coach-Client Interaction: If you are a Client, your designated Coach can view your logs and metrics to provide coaching.
- Service Providers: We use third parties for cloud storage (Firebase), authentication, and subscription management (RevenueCat).
- Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information about children.
